Best Supplements for Overall Health

Posted on May 4, 2015 by Bio Man in Body Health, Product Reviews No Comments

Take your life back. Take it back from all the potential diseases, stress, lethargy and other symptoms preventing you from living life to the fullest.  This article is a guide from which you can choose (or not choose) the best supplements with which to help regenerate and heal your body.

There’s some funny memes going around which show how much value modern people place on the superficial. There’s a man in Brazil who has paid a fortune in plastic surgery to get fake biceps. There’s also the numerous photos of rednecks posting pictures of their home-made car spoiler’s.  Apparently to those particular people not only does it make the car look sporty but it also makes it faster . . . somehow.

The point about the two stories above is that modern society itself has a somewhat analogous superficial view of nutrition. Take for example the media’s lambasting of vitamins and minerals supplements. Not only did they proclaim that they were useless in preventing disease, but they also claimed everyone should stop taking them!

Upon closer investigation of the their studies, a number of significant flaws were found. I will not go too in-depth in their analyses here but needless to say I still prefer vitamins to pharmaceutical drugs.

One study has shown that “Over 60 billion doses of vitamin and mineral supplements per year in the USA, and not a single fatality. Not one.”  Now compare that statement with pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines.  I encourage you to do your own research and come up with your own conclusions.

Needless to say this article is pro-vitamins and from my own knowledge and personal experience I think that vitamins are critical to maintaining a healthy body.  I also believe that if one wants to achieve peak mental and physical conditioning they need to look at the body as a whole.

Whether your goal is for beauty, strength or razor-sharp mental faculties it is critical your perspective be holistic.

Without further ado let me list the top 5 best supplements which I believe will be beneficial to your health.

  1. Vitamin Code Multivitamin (for men or women)
  2. Whole Earth & Sea  Multivitamin (for men or women)
  3. MegaFood  Multivitamin (for men or women)
  4. Vitamin Code Liquid Multivitamin
  5. NAKA: Vital Greens

Best Supplements: Vitamin Code

I’ve used Garden of Life’s Vitamin Code products for quite a few years.  They use top quality, non-gmo, dairy free, gluten-free, raw ingredients.  And use a potent form of probiotics and enzymes to help give you maximum absorption of micronutrients and vitamins.  Be forewarned though you should take their potent supplements with food!

Best Supplements: Whole Earth & Sea

Whole Earth & Sea appears to be a subsidiary of Natural Factors.  Now I don’t favour Natural Factors products as much, as their products can sometimes be questionable in terms of ingredients and potency. But I do have to give Natural Factors props for bringing up their A-game with the Whole Earth & Sea products line.

The multivitamins I have been using so far (for men), have proven to be exceptional.  The ingredients are non-gmo, yeast free, dairy free, gluten-free, free of animal products and suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians.

Best Supplements: MegaFood

A popular favourite among the Vegan and Vegetarian crowds, MegaFood’s product lines have a big following in North America.  Using non-gmo, Vegan friendly, Vegetarian friendly, dairy free, soy free and Kosher friendly.

If you have any food sensitivities or allergies MegaFood’s product lines are probably your best bet to supplement your staple diet.  As this will ensure your body is getting the vitamins and minerals your body needs.

Best Supplements: Vitamin Code Liquid Multivitamin

I’ve added Vitamin Code Liquid Multivitamin because it’s been proven over and over again that liquid vitamins are superior to tablets.  Liquid vitamins have a proven absorption rate of up to 95%.  Now add top quality ingredients from a reputable company like Garden of Life and you now have a potent liquid multi-vitamin.

Not to mention Vitamin Code Liquid Multivitamin is also non-gmo, gluten-free, dairy free, Vegetarian friendly.

Best Supplements: NAKA: Vital Greens

I have used Vital Greens in my smoothies and one thing for sure, don’t take it too late at night.  Or else you’ll be in bed feeling like you need to do a 100 push ups to try to make yourself tired.  Vital Greens is gmo free and boasts an array of vegetable juice and superfood complexes in its ingredients.

Well there you have it, some of the best multivitamins out there to help maintain, heal and regenerate your body.
